Welcome!

Faced with a strange problem and ask for help.
Endured the home PC (Win7) on Amazon EC2 installation of Redmine. Did everything that is on this algorithm: algorithm.
In VirtualBox, everything turned out fine and worked (though on Ubuntu x86) and on Amazon the following occurs:
1. After startup everything seems to be fine. See the processes apache and passenger.
2. After the call to redmine is formed here is a tree of processes
root........../usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
www-data......../usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
root............PassengerWatchdog
root.............PassengerHelperAgent
root...............Passenger.spawn.server
root.................[ruby].defunct <---- I am here this process is very confusing
redmine................Rails:./www/redmine/app
nobody...........PassengerLoggingAgent
www-data......./usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
www-data......./usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start

On the live server it looks like this:
root........../usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
www-data......../usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
root............PassengerWatchdog
root.............PassengerHelperAgent
root...............Passenger.spawn.server
redmine..............Passenger.ApplicationSpawner:./www/redmine/app
nobody...........PassengerLoggingAgent
www-data......./usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
www-data......./usr/sbin/apache2.-k.start
redmine.......Rails:./www/redmine/app

Included the maximum level of logging passenger, there appears a record of the start redmine (the same text appears when you start webrick, but not all) and occasionally appears
Flushing all sinks (periodic action)

The Apache logs are also clean.

That's what happens if you use wget
redmine@ip-10-234-150-80:~$ wget localhost
--2012-05-05 08:18:51-- localhost/
Resolving localhost (localhost) 127.0.0.1...
Connecting to localhost (localhost)|127.0.0.1|:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... ^C

Could you tell me the direction where to dig?
