Is there any timeout for the information in the "password" field on iOS?

The crux of the matter is that if after entering the password, the program generated a connection error with the server (Internet connection is lost or the desired server is not available at this moment) and if the program doesn't close, and just collapse (as is usually the case on iOS), then the password remains the introduction. And with the resumption of Internet access, or when restoring server availability, you can safely log in because the password was already entered.
Is there a way to reset the form to enter a password when an unsuccessful attempt server connection or after a short period of time of inactivity of the program? Or is it fundamentally impossible on iOS?
