Good night everybody, my question is:

I once worked on a project where I used a bunch of Trac + Subversion. Actually important, not these softiny, but in General the principle of action.

It looks as follows: in every commit I must specify the ticket number in the Truck, and then when you view the ticket can see the list of all commits to it.

And I'm still very curious how this works, because as I understand it Subversion uses a database, and Vice versa Trac pulls all the information from there (sorry never installed neither).

Thanks in advance to all who answer

It's very simple — in the main repositories connected post-commit-hook that parses the commit log and makes the required entries in DB Trac/Redmine/etc

We have redmajne data from SVN tightened only when you open the page with the repository browser. Apparently the hooks are configured.
But as I understand the source of the same redmayne. just running e.g. 'svn log' parse the result and compares with what he's got stored in the database. If there are differences, it starts to add to the database all the necessary data. But the fact that he was just the shell executes the command and parses the result.
