There are all sorts of popular CMS under the GPL license type, Drupal and Worpress.
Allows the GPL to sell their modules aka plugins for your CMS?
Please explain.

Wordpress says you should (look, it was a discussion where the developers pay the argued with them), the developers say no, because they say that the WP code is not used, and the code/modules are distributed separately from the cms.

1. The GPL explicitly allows selling, the important thing is not to violate the license to make the source code and to have anonizm in the form of obfuscation.
2. Plugins can be under any license, if distributed separately.
