Attachment_fu is the best plugin for Ruby on Rails to upload files via HTTP?


What do you use for everyday tasks: upload an image, resize it, make the validation characteristics of the downloaded file etc.?

Attachment_fu is certainly good, but quite old.

I always use a paperclip. Does whatever you call it, very very simple and native. The main feature is that working with files is no different from working with the usual attributes of a model.

Attachment_fu is hopelessly outdated. Paperclip is definitely better.

I agree with @qazwsx. There are still carrierwave. To me personally its API is closer in spirit than a paperclip, but to each his own, as they say.
