Is it possible in Windows 7 to search the contents of files in UTF8?

I remember, in WinXP search for the same file worked. I had to stop. And that really has me stumped — gugleniya yielded no results, as if this problem I have one, and all the rest of mankind knows some secret.

Primarily interested in whether you can get the very Win7 to search for text files in multibyte encodings, and then third-party solutions.

If you enable in the settings search index content (plain text index) for the desired extension, the English word it finds (at least I rummage in the source code). Russian is harder hurriedly not found =(
