For those who use both a Uk and Ru keymaps familiar with cases when writing is "y" — "I", "e" — "e", "b" — "*".

It is all the difference in the layouts. Still stupid enough presence in the Ukrainian layout of the letter "E" and the missing apostrophe.

Actually the question itself. If anyone knows a way to share layouts Uk and Ru?

Need to Russian keyboard layout when you press for example Ctrl-Alt-s to "I", Ctrl-Alt-Shift+s to "I"

If only it were that simple. In addition to the letters "I" and "s" on the button there is the letter "s" which in combination with ctrl, ctrl+shift. Apostrophe I enter sampadam (alt+0146 = " ’ "). In principle it would be possible to learn just codes other three characters, but the problem with the register and also not everywhere works with this combination.
But in Ubuntu there is an apostrophe)
