Hi all. The following is an interesting challenge. A service is created for a large audience, with only about 40-60 percent of it will be Internet user. The question arose how to do offline registration, to be even and simple. Current options:

  • The creation of a call center;
  • Registration by SMS;
  • Check with the answering machine, by analogy with the services of mobile operators.

All of these options have their drawbacks. A Call centre can either not pay off or obtain a great burden and cease to be effective.

SMS, fill in the free form and processed by the bot, can easily zaparivatsya in the presence of typos, for example, so that there is manual labor.

Check with the answering machine still not very convenient, and again, the potential failure if a large load.

UPD: to register must be your full name, phone, region, and profession, which will be chosen from the list.

Actually, IMHO, SMS is the best way because:
a) allows Regit in the form of a login the user's phone
b) to adequately display and give the option to save the entered password
C) reduces the chances of miscommunication of information to the user. I.e. the user will not be able to perceive what he said the call centre or answering machine, if can not make out what they said. Ie will not be able to adequately verify the input data. With SMS problems "understanding" is clearly less.

do normal SMS, if a bot that is not detected, then do not mark the recognized field mark "to tell the user to drive them manually when you first enter the site"

What is the purpose? Because the goal depends on the means of accomplishment.

Mmm... I don't know, but if I understand correctly the question is for example, assuming that the mobiles are the most — MB. should make the form for registering on the site, adapted for use on the phone? It's not all exciting, but at least part. Personally, I would prefer this option for myself, instead of the same registration by SMS.
Advantages of the method: automatic processing/check the result immediately.
You may want to choose 2 similar method and give users a choice.

Check still needed on the site, so do a standard check and not have to reinvent the wheel.

If people far from the Internet then enter the simplified registration (the man drives a login/password/soap, and the soap response is sent only on successful registration, without any evidence, then the candidate can only get to the page where you must fill in other data, like name/etc.)

Registration should be name, phone, region, and profession, which will be chosen from the list.

by far the SMS:
+ Instantly know the phone number.
+ The subscriber number identifies the region where the phone was.
\r
When first entering the website remains to specify the name and profession.
the lesser of two evils, IMHO
