Is an ordinary Windows XP SP3, installed on a ordinary hard drive and works fine.
I want the installation to run in VMWare (or any other virtualization system) under installed next to Windows 7, and as the container to use a physical disk.
In General, to do so no is not the problem, but is a huge minus iron set from the point of view of WinXP when running in virtual reality and hardware will be radically different.
1. Not if she will go crazy from this?
2. How easy it is to switch? I suspect that it will be constantly tearing the tower at least for hardware RAID, four graphics cards and four monitors (which is in virtual reality of course not). Would it be enough just to reboot a few times on the hardware below the OS again recognized the device and all earned as it is necessary, or from a reboot it can live and not go?
3. Remember that Windows XP (in seven this is not found for some reason) there is some feature that allows you to remember various hardware configuration and booting will be your choice which of them are now loaded. Has anyone tried this functionality, does it even work? Vaguely, again, heard that it is intended only for the periphery but not for the main system devices. Is this true?
Or still I have no output and will have to create your partition with WinXP as a separate container for the new path and come to terms with is actually a duplicate topic?
