Hi, Habr.

Sorry not really on topic to bother you, but I don't know who else you can rely on. But the problem I have the following: very acutely the need to buy a new phone. Worn out with all possible platforms, stopped on Android. But, due to the limited budget (under 15K for the grey phone) in sight got quite a few models, namely sabriye. Tell me, please, what would you chose in my place (and maybe would suggest your option?). And, politely, convincingly. Android to me is dark wood and it is very important to updated the firmware because I do not like to suffer the same bug over the years. Well, a whole bunch of stuff I don't write in the reviews, I was also interested in.

From hardware differences found in HTC more RAM, and the Motorola bigger screen.

Thank you-please excuse me!

If the phone only need to call, you can not only SMARTS/smartphones to choose from.

Motorola Milestone IMHO very cool phone, but I personally picked the HTC because Motorola decided to leave not only from Russia...
despite the positive experience of using pipes from Motorola that required (and still require) of the service, still did not dare to buy, although again IMHO more interesting Milestone than HTC.

If you happen to find in your budget Nexus One, I would take it.

It is very important that the phone has updated firmware (whynot)
— this parameter only he fits.

Personally, I don't see an enormous difference between desire and legend Legend (MrNull)
— it is on some levels inhibit Andry Birds. Personally seen with my own eyes :)

I took the Milestone, everyone happy. Hardware keyboard is a big plus as the big screen and Gorilla Glass on it.

The advantages of Motorola can also be the possibility of successful overclocking.

Ie desire to be far behind in updates? whynot,
\r
— of course, in practice a thousand examples (the story about the HTC Hero at all sore). Because the Nexus is "naked" Android as soon as Google makes the new version, she goes to him. I will say more on the Nexus is just testing the new OS. All other manufacturers build into their OS shell. HTC Sense, Motorola MOTOBLUR, Samsung Touch Wiz, and so on.
\r
Hence:
1) Have the time to sheath insertion in the OS (the reason for the delay)
2) it is Necessary to spend resources (read money for the work of the programmers) on the insertion sheath. And why is it necessary if you use Kopil camera?

I personally doubt that let the same Desire to upgrade to 2.3 because there is already the next generation of the Desire HD and Desire Z.
